Welcome to MeetingMap. By using the app, you agree to these terms. Please read them — especially the sections on what MeetingMap is (and isn't).

What MeetingMap is

MeetingMap is a directory tool that helps you find AA and NA recovery meetings near your location or in other places you search. It aggregates publicly available meeting information from third-party sources.

MeetingMap is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Alcoholics Anonymous World Services, Inc., Narcotics Anonymous World Services, Inc., or any local intergroup, area, or region. We are an independent tool built to make finding meeting information easier.

Not medical advice, not an emergency service

MeetingMap is a directory, not a treatment provider, counsellor, or emergency service. Nothing in the app constitutes medical, psychiatric, or professional advice.

If you are in crisis or in danger, please contact emergency services (999 in the UK, 911 in the US) or a crisis line directly. Do not rely on this app in an emergency.

Meeting information accuracy

Meeting times, locations, and details are sourced from third-party directories and may change without notice, be temporarily inaccurate, or be removed by the organizing group at any time. Always allow extra time and, where possible, verify details independently — especially for a meeting you're relying on for the first time. We do our best to keep data current but cannot guarantee accuracy.

Anonymity

We built MeetingMap with respect for the tradition of anonymity in recovery. The app does not require your name or identity to search for or save meetings, and we do not publish, share, or make visible anything about your usage to any other person or organization.

Using the app

You agree to use MeetingMap only for its intended purpose — finding recovery meetings — and not to misuse, scrape, disrupt, or attempt to reverse-engineer the service.

Subscriptions

Certain features may be offered as a paid subscription, processed entirely through Apple's App Store. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your device's App Store account settings. Refunds are handled according to Apple's App Store refund policies, not by us directly. The core function of finding nearby meetings will always remain free.

Intellectual property

The MeetingMap app, its design, and its original content are owned by MeetingMap. Meeting data itself belongs to the organizations that publish it and is used here for informational purposes.

Disclaimer of warranties

MeetingMap is provided "as is." We do not guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that meeting information will always be accurate or available.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MeetingMap is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including reliance on meeting information that turns out to be inaccurate or outdated.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app evolves. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
